Akua'ba Fertility figure

A variant representation of Fante Akua'ba figure. This figure displays a long rectangular head, a cylindrical torso above muscular strong legs and handless. The back of the head has incised carving. Some of this ornamentation refers to hairstyles, while other designs may have had an apotropaic function, or just decorative (E. Cameron 1996:48).
